We have been together for 10 years starting when we were young 17 & 18 year olds. Attending the same primary school together, we met the old fashion way when we were reintroduced at a party in High School. Erin had snuck out that night, the naughty gal but I am so glad she did. We are NEWLY WEDS and have a little 18month old gorgeous daughter.

Hey I’m Ed (Cinematographer), an outgoing and adventure loving Sunshine Coast Wedding videographer. I love all things fitness and ocean related, if the weather is good I'm usually out combining these two obsessions. 

​

 Originally from a little country town called Bowral in the Southern Highlands, University quickly brought me to the South Coast where I fell in love with the coastal lifestyle.  From there my fiancé (Erin) and I decide to make the move to the warmer weather and chilled lifestyle of the Sunshine Coast, so here I am.

 

My approach to wedding cinematography is very ‘fly on the wall’ style, I aim to capture genuine moments with authentic emotions by only shooting handheld and letting you guys concentrate on each other. 

 

The most important thing to me about your wedding, even more than capturing beautiful moments throughout your day, is for you guys to have the most stress free, enjoyable day possible.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT US

We have been together for 9 years starting when we were young 17 & 18 year olds. Attending the same primary school together, we met the old fashion way when we were reintroduced at a party in High School. Erin had snuck out that night, the naughty gal but I am so glad she did. 

Then sparks flew on facebook messenger, talking everyday. Erin was completing year 12 at this time, while I had all the time in the world living at home and saving up to travel Europe. I would go sign her out of school just to spend more time with her as weekend's just weren't enough. 

In 2018, we made the big decision to travel the world for 3 months together - we called this the big test. We set off on what would be the best adventure and decision we could have made at the time. Making new friends, exploring new parts of the world together but also showing each other parts of the world we had been to on our own travels years before.

Making the big move to the Sunshine Coast, QLD in 2019 from our hometown Bowral NSW, Ed knew he wanted to start capturing couple's on their wedding day and Erin just supported the dream, possibly not realising that one day that she would also be able to join the team and get to be apart of this awesome industry. 

We are expecting parents in February 2023, and we are bursting at the seams to meet her! Although we do already have two miniature dachshunds that are keeping us busy and sleeping in our bed - they are our pride and joy.

After studying Digital Media at UOW I naturally developed a love for story telling, I have always had my eye set on living a creative life style and it wasn’t until I filmed my first wedding I knew I had found my calling. I treat every wedding as a blank canvas with a unique story to tell.

 

My approach to wedding cinematography is very ‘fly on the wall’ style, I aim to capture genuine moments with authentic emotions by only shooting handheld and letting you guys concentrate on each other. 

 

The most important thing to me about your wedding, even more than capturing beautiful moments throughout your day, is for you guys to have the most stress free, enjoyable day possible.

My approach to each wedding day is to capture the love and personalities of the couple so I can create the perfect film and tell their love story. I love to catch the 'in between' moments when you are genuinely just enjoying yourself and taking in the moment of your wedding day. 


My goal for each film is for couples to want to rewatch their film for years to come and even shed a tear each time... if i am lucky. 
 

Why should you book me? Well, I guess ultimately I don’t want to just be another fish in the sea. I don’t want you to book me because I’m a videographer within your budget in your area. I want you to LOVE my work, and to like me as a person. I want to work with people with whom I will be friends.
