NESTLED IN THE HINTERLAND OF THE CURRUMBIN VALLEY, THE VALLEY ESTATE

The love story - so lets recap on how this all began. It all started on the surgical ward. Amber was a student nurse and had crossed paths with Charlie before, he was a doctor on the same ward. Charlie also recounts seeing Amber walking around in her RN uniform. Their first encounter was professional with no real romantic gestures as they were both standing over a patient at the time inserting a chest strain apparently.

Amber remembers being cool, calm and collected on their first date while masking the butterflies she felt below the surface. Romanced by flowers and candles before the date even started, Amber knew this one was a keeper. They enjoy their mornings in together when not on shift and lazy days on the beach feeling relaxed and free. No matter where they are or regardless of the weather, in the city or the mountains they just adore being together.

Charlie describes Amber as the most caring person he knows and the only competition he has is her love affair for Nando's. He admires her determination and how hard she works. How funny, kind, gentle and all of her quirks. Plus her tendency to break out into song and dance. Amber describes Charlie as thoughtful, genuine and kind. She knows a man like him is hard to find. She admires his intelligence and is incredibly smart. With Charlie, Amber says waking up and coming home are the best parts of her day and she admires the way he treats her in the most beautiful way. They are both amazing people and adore being surrounded by their closest family and friends. Their day was about celebrating their love but also to thank all their family and friends for all the support and relationships they have built during their time together.

In the city where it all began to stand and say I do. A time to pause, look back and smile at all the memories that brought them here. A time to look ahead at all the beautiful moments that are still to come. Charlie & Amber tied the knot in the stunning chapel at The Valley Estate with all their nearest and dearest on a sunny Gold Coast day. I am always taken back by how beautiful this wedding venue is. In every direction there is opportunity for an amazing photo/video. The sunsets perfectly across the venue and we found ourselves chancing the light from the glasshouse at one end to where it finally set across the open paddock in front of the manor (reception space)

"Oh my lord this is unreal, we had legit chills watching it over and over again. Seriously you have out done yourself. We particularly love the part where you mix all of our dances- so amazing!! I’m honestly gonna watch this over and over again!! Amazing, amazing, amazing! I’ll be bursting with tears watching this alllllll night! "

I had the chance to work with some pretty wonderful vendors at this stunning Valley Estate wedding. The amazing photographers were from Figtree photography. See the photos below. The celebrant was Kellie Butterworth. The flowers for both the ceremony and reception were by the amazing Florals & Co. The talented humans behind Amber's look are makeup by Natalie Lucas Makeup, hair by Aurum Bride (Rachel Pivatta) and the stunning dresses by Marianna Hardwick (ceremony dress) & Vagabond Bridal (Reception dress). Harpist- Tijana Korzic serenaded us during cocktail hour before quests headed into the reception space. The talented team providing the dance floor vibes were G&M event group (Peter Townsend). The delicious cake was by Delish Cakes by Tracey. The very talented team who put this altogether was The Hourglass House.
