Their Love Story
Wendy and Paul’s love story kicked off in true holiday romance fashion... poolside on Daydream Island. While Wendy was mid-Dirty Dancing reenactment (yes, the lift), Paul was fully zinced up and sun-safe, soaking up the scenery... and apparently, Wendy. From that cheeky bikini-in-the-bag moment (so she’d have a reason to see him again), things moved quickly. Fast-forward through countless adventures, a little girl named Winnie, and a whole lot of laughter, and these two found themselves tying the knot surrounded by their closest family and friends.
Their day at Yandina Station was as full of heart as it was full of humour. With guests flying in from the Netherlands and Lola the dog taking her job as ring bearer very seriously (complete with Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack), it was a wedding that truly reflected who they are... genuine, warm, a little bit cheeky, and completely perfect for each other.

Everything about the day felt like a big warm hug. From the emotion of the ceremony, where Paul was lovingly described as a bear (“big-hearted, protective, strong… and loves his honey”), to the candid chaos of free-range Winnie and Lola stealing the show... it was beautifully imperfect in the best way.
Their vows had everyone laughing, crying, and holding their loved ones a little closer. And when it came time to celebrate, these two did it in true Wendy & Paul style... surrounded by their people, sipping pale ales, dancing, and soaking in every golden hour moment.
