EMMA & BENTLEY

YANDINA STATION WEDDING

Emma & Bentley's Wedding at Yandina Station: A Celebration of Laughter, Love & Lawn Machinery

Their Love Story:

Not all great love stories start with a candlelit dinner or a stolen glance across a crowded room. Emma and Michael’s (aka Bentley’s) began… at the dump. Yes, really. After a brief (and apparently forgettable) encounter at a Christmas party, fate stepped in and gave them a second chance. This time involving high-vis vests, machinery lessons, and some fairly suspicious ‘accidental’ car breakdowns.

Emma admits she had eyes on Bentley from the interview room at her parents’ business, already plotting how to get a job just to be near “the good-looking bad boy.” Bentley, on the other hand, took his sweet time building up the courage to ask her out, opting first to offer loader-driving tips like some sort of industrial Casanova.

Their romance blossomed slowly, fish and chips by the beach, shared country values, and a mutual love for dogs and dirt. It wasn’t long before they became inseparable.

A quote from the vows:

“You are my heart, my home, and my forever.” ~ Bentley

“At 18 I told you I loved you for the first time, and today I vow to love you for the rest of my life.” ~ Emma

Cue the collective sobbing.

A little about the celebration:

From the moment the guests took their seats, you could feel the infectious energy in the air. Emma and Michael’s wedding wasn’t just a formal ceremony. It was a full-blown celebration of joy, cheeky banter, and the kind of love you only find once. The laughter flowed freely, the tears (the good kind) made several appearances, and the speeches had everyone alternating between wiping eyes and doubling over with laughter.

Their wedding vows were heartfelt, their ring bearers adorable, and that first kiss as husband and wife? Absolute fireworks. This wasn’t just a wedding. It was a party with a purpose, and every moment felt like it was straight out of their love story.

Why Yandina Station is Perfect for a Wedding:

Let’s just say, thank goodness they didn’t get married at the dump or “the loo with the view” where they got engaged (yes, that’s real). Instead, they chose Yandina Station, a slice of rustic paradise on the Sunshine Coast, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

With sweeping paddocks, stunning hinterland views, and a country-meets-coastal vibe, Yandina Station delivered the ideal setting for a relaxed yet elegant wedding. Its authentic charm matched Emma and Michael’s down-to-earth style to a tee. Whether it was sunset photos in golden light or dancing under the stars in the open-air reception space, this venue offered the perfect blend of natural beauty and timeless romance.

If you're dreaming of a Queensland wedding that feels personal, picturesque and not too posh for a bit of tractor talk, Yandina Station is your go-to.

A Thank You to Emma & Michael, and a Note for Future Couples:
