Their Love Story
It all started with a little workplace flirtation at Brisbane City Council, classic. Back in 2017, Alyce and Jules' “office romance” was born. Jules first spotted Alyce on a coffee run and was instantly hit with butterflies (and hot flashes... his words, not ours). She was cool, calm, and radiated quiet confidence. For Alyce, it was a Friday drinks session at Alfred & Constance where she first clocked Jules, thinking, “He seems mature… and maybe a little bit smug about his Europe trip.”
Their first date? A Vietnamese lunch that Alyce thought would be a group hang. Spoiler alert: it was not. Jules had orchestrated a sneaky one-on-one and even earned some high-fives from co-workers who spotted the blossoming “council crush.”
Their third date was a sunset picnic at Kangaroo Point... with cider, a pink picnic blanket, and the realisation that something special was brewing. From that day, life became one big, beautiful spreadsheet together.
A Little About the Celebration
Jules and Alyce’s wedding at Yandina Station was nothing short of perfect. A little drizzle? Sure. But it didn’t dampen a thing. If anything, it added even more romance to an already magical day. The day was full of family, warmth, and unforgettable moments.
They survived side-by-side work during lockdown, spontaneous Japanese alleyway food hunts, and now they’re heading into married life the same way they’ve always done everything: as best friends, partners, and equals.
