A Whitsundays
Wedding
A Day of Family & Sunset Glow
Kelly & Beau
Their Love Story
Thirteen years in the making, Kelly and Beau’s love story is the kind you could write a movie, with equal parts hilarious, heartfelt, and perfectly unfiltered. From friendship to flirtation to full-blown life partners, these two have built a relationship on grit, loyalty, and deep affection. They’ve tackled life together like a true team, from buying a home to raising their gorgeous kids, Winnie and Van: who, by the way, stole every heart at the wedding (ours included).
Kelly, the self-confessed pocket rocket with fierce loyalty and unmatched strength, found her steady in Beau. A man with a quiet presence, a massive heart, and apparently a weakness for her cheeky shopping logic. Together, they’ve created not just a beautiful family but an entire energy that radiated across the Whitsundays.
A Little About the Celebration
This wasn’t your typical beachfront wedding. This was a Whitsundays dream. Surrounded by palm trees, still waters and family who clearly know how to party, Kelly and Beau’s day was full of deep feels and big laughs. The ceremony opened with a singing bowl echoing through the trees (cue goosebumps), and their vows? Let’s just say, there weren’t many dry eyes… and a few proud tears from us behind the camera too.
The kids were centre stage (Winnie’s little speech nearly broke us), the speeches were equal parts stand-up comedy and heartfelt tributes, and Beau wrapped it all up with: “Let’s get lit!” … Honestly, how could you not love these two?
Why the Whitsundays is Perfect for a Wedding
The Whitsundays isn’t just a wedding destination ... it’s a feeling. Golden hour here hits different, and for Kelly & Beau, that soft glow through the trees was the final layer of magic. Whether it’s an intimate elopement or a big celebration with your entire crew, the Whitsundays gives you that secluded serenity and the kind of light that makes videographers (like us) genuinely giddy.
It’s the kind of place where the sky feels endless, nature does half the styling, and your wedding can feel like a real-life daydream.
A Huge Thank You Kelly & Beau
To Kelly & Beau, thank you for letting us run wild with you, laugh with your family, and cry (yep, we cried) during those incredible vows. Your day was authentic, vibrant, and full of love, and we felt like old friends from the moment we arrived. It was truly an honour to be part of your story.
If you’re reading this and you’re planning your own wedding in the Whitsundays (or anywhere in QLD), and you’re after a film that’s actually about you, your vibe, and your people ... let’s chat.
