Eventually, the two matched on Tinder and Tegan opened with the elite pickup line, “Hey you.” It worked. Their first date involved a beach sunset, baked cheese, dips, and Layton hobbling around on crutches, which might be the most endearing start to a relationship we’ve heard.
From sneaky cab rides that became the talk of the gym to full-blown life plans and business dreams, these two quickly became each other’s ride-or-dies.
