Amie and James’ love story kicked off in Toowoomba, late one night at The Cube Hotel. A bold birthday pickup line from James (“I’m your birthday present”) led to a breakfast date that sealed the deal. Twelve years later, here they are ... partners, best mates, and now, husband and wife.
It’s one of those stories that feels like fate. They’ve been through interstate moves, career changes, and life’s quiet in-betweens, always showing up for each other. The way these two love is calm, constant, and real.

These two had us tearing up behind the cameras. Their vows were full of honesty, cheeky grins, and the kind of intimacy that only comes from truly knowing one another. From bacon-and-eggs beginnings to deep, unconditional love. They’re a reminder that the best kind of relationships are built one little moment at a time.

A little about the celebration
Amie and James celebrated their wedding day at the breathtaking Ocean View Estates, surrounded by rolling vineyards, their closest 32 family and friends, and two hearts completely in sync. It was elegant but relaxed, heartfelt but full of laughs. From the Shiraz Cabin prep through to their sparkler-lit reception entry, this day was pure joy.
The champagne tower was popping, the barrel room was buzzing, and every bit of golden hour was soaked up with wine in hand and love in the air. Plus, we snuck into the wine cellar for a cheeky secret sip, which made for some killer shots too.
