Their Love Story
Cassie and Luis’ love story is one that proves the best things in life are worth waiting for. These two first met at Indooroopilly State School, became mates in high school, and eventually had their “first date” at Luis’ 18th birthday ... which is just about the most classic slow-burn love story ever.
Since then, life has been a string of adventures together: moving out, rescuing two cheeky cats, renovating their home (Cassie designs, Luis does the elbow grease), and sharing in their love for food, gin, and making each other laugh.
Their connection is built on a rock-solid foundation of mutual respect, witty banter, shared values, and ridiculous inside jokes (including communicating in southern accents when no one’s watching ... legends).

Their day at Spicers Clovelly was hosted by the always-amazing Pash & Dash Weddings and brought together just the right balance of timeless elegance and relaxed intimacy. You could just feel how adored these two were by everyone around them: the genuine laughs, happy tears, and overwhelming warmth from their friends and family made it a day we were genuinely honoured to be part of.
From their beautiful outdoor ceremony shaded by the estate’s lush trees to heartfelt words shared at golden hour, the vibe was full of love, charm, and a lot of fun. And when the sun dipped low over the hinterland, the celebration kicked up a notch ... exactly how you want a wedding day to feel.
