Their Love Story
Some love stories begin with a perfectly planned first date. Breanna and Ryan's started with a dance battle.
Well... technically, they first met when Bree was a little too enthusiastic with the drinks and doesn't actually remember it. The second meeting, though, was impossible to forget.
A mutual birthday celebration brought them together, and after chatting effortlessly over a few drinks, they found themselves on the dance floor. Ryan spotted another bloke making his move and decided there was only one logical solution... a full blown dance off.
When one of his favourite songs came on, Ryan cleared a circle, pulled out his signature move (one requiring far more core strength than most wedding guests could manage), and completely stole the show. Safe to say, the competition quietly disappeared, and Ryan walked away with far more than just bragging rights.
The night ended with a few kisses before Bree disappeared to look after a friend. Not wanting to let the opportunity slip away, Ryan jumped onto Facebook and sent what has become one of the greatest opening lines ever:
"Oi, did you leave already?"
Thankfully for Ryan, it worked.
From their very first date the conversation never stopped. Well... mainly because Bree happily talked enough for both of them while Ryan quietly admired the beautiful, bubbly woman sitting beside him.
Over the years they built a relationship filled with festivals, laughter, family, sleepovers, Christmas traditions, board game rivalries, and countless memories together.
Then, after Bree was involved in a car accident in late 2023, Ryan was reminded just how quickly life can change. The very next day he organised one of the most thoughtful proposals imaginable.
Under fairy lights, surrounded by both families, rose petals, Christmas shirts and the song Until I Found You, Ryan asked Bree to marry him.
Judging by the amount of happy tears (and approximately fifty "Oh my God!"s), we'd say the answer was never really in doubt.

Watching these two together makes it incredibly obvious why everyone speaks so highly of them. They genuinely bring out the very best in each other, and that energy spread through every single part of the day.
