What started as a cheeky towel drop (Wendy sneakily left her bikini in Paul’s bag to guarantee a second meet-up) turned into years of laughter, love, and building a beautiful life together.
Paul’s first impression? Wendy was the life of the party. Loud, wild, warm, and absolutely magnetic. And Wendy? She saw right through the tradie swagger to the grounded, thoughtful bloke underneath. A match made in the tropics.
Fast forward to the Sunshine Coast, and these two stood hand-in-hand, with their gorgeous daughter Winnie front and centre, pledging their forever at one of the most iconic wedding venues in Queensland — Yandina Station.

A little about the celebration
This day had everything. A classic car arrival, a dog wearing a flower crown, a surprise ring delivery by their pup Lola (yep, timed to the Pirates of the Caribbean theme), and a wedding party with serious mafia vibes. But amongst the chaos and fun was also so much emotion.
Wendy wore a little keepsake of her late mother pinned to her bouquet — lace from her mum’s wedding dress — and the entire day felt like a nod to the people they loved, both here and gone.
Paul and Wendy’s vows were raw and hilarious, their speeches heartfelt, and their dance floor? Absolute mayhem (the good kind). It was messy, beautiful, tear-filled, and just so authentically them.
