Palm Creek Estate Wedding
A Love Story Written From Childhood to “I Do”
Kirra & Kade
Their Love Story
Some couples meet by chance. Some meet through friends.
Kirra and Kade met twice … once as kids at under-10s Mooloolaba nippers (which Kade remembers vividly and Kirra does not at all), and again in Year 9 when Kirra moved to Kades school.
By Year 10? The spark was definitely there.
Not long after, under the trees at a park, he asked her to be his girlfriend … 8 September 2012. Teenage love at its cutest.
From their first holiday to the Gold Coast, to school formals, to long-distance drives between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast during uni, their relationship grew the way the best ones do: Steadily, consistently, and with an ease that felt like home.
And then came Europe.
And an Airbnb balcony.
And prosecco (because of course).
And a ring somewhere in a backpack that Kade was trying very hard to find without panicking.
As the sun set over the Puglia coast, Kirra secretly hoped he was proposing… but also assumed Kade was surprising her with some chocolate.
But no … Kade got down on one knee, asked the question, and Prosecco instantly became champagne.
Their “yes” was quiet. Personal. Perfect.
And now?
Here they are, saying “I do” surrounded by the people they love most, at the breathtaking Palm Creek Estate
A little about the celebration
Palm Creek Estate was glowing. Warm sunshine, rolling hills, and the kind of golden afternoon light that makes you understand why wedding photographers & videographers can’t wipe the smile off their faces.
Family and friends filled the space with laughter, happy tears, and confetti (a lot of confetti).
Highlights included:
• Kirra crying before the vows even started
• Kade taking her soggy, tear-filled tissue and putting it in his pocket like an absolute king
• Their hilarious ice-cream imbalance (Kade eats all the good bits; Kirra gets the plain leftovers)
• A ceremony personalised with stories from childhood, Europe adventures, seafood pasta, fishing trips, and accidental drunken speeches at barbecues
The whole day felt like watching two best friends marry the person they've already done a lifetime with and can’t wait to keep doing life with.
