Their Love Story
Natassja and Daniel’s story is one of those rare ones that’s been building for years.
They first met over a decade ago through family, but it wasn’t until 2016 that things really kicked off. After their first official date in June, Dan took Natassja up a mountain in September… and at the very top, asked her to be his girlfriend. Not a bad way to start a relationship.
Since then, their life together has been nothing short of full.
They’ve travelled, built a home, welcomed two beautiful daughters into the world, and created a life that’s equal parts adventure and stability. From buying and selling homes to packing up for a six-month lap around Australia, these two don’t sit still for long.
But underneath all of that, what stands out most is how grounded their relationship is.
Easy going.
Adventurous.
Joyful.
That’s them, to a tee.

This wasn’t just a wedding. It was two people who already built a life together, choosing each other all over again in front of everyone they love.

A little about the celebration
Set against the coastal beauty of Yeppoon in Northern Queensland, Natassja and Daniel’s day had that perfect balance of emotion and energy.
Dan got ready at the Echelon Apartments overlooking the ocean, while Natassja and the girls were just down the road at Salt.
Calm, excited, and ready for what was about to unfold.
The ceremony took place at The Lookout Woodbury, and it honestly lived up to its name. Open views, fresh coastal air, and that relaxed Queensland vibe that makes everything feel easy.
After the ceremony, they took time to actually be with their people. Hugging guests, laughing, soaking it all in ... the stuff that matters most and the stuff we love capturing.
Then it was off to Keppel Bay Sailing Club for the reception, where things kicked up a notch. Speeches, dancing, and that perfect mix of chaos and celebration that makes a wedding feel alive.
