The Boat House Noosa Wedding

13 Years of Love, Laughter and Adventure

Jas & Tom

Their Love Story

Jasmine and Tom’s story began on their very first day of university in 2013, living in a shared flat with 13 other flatmates and bedrooms just two doors apart. After a week of nights out together, they quickly became inseparable. What started as a university friendship turned into a relationship filled with pub crawls, pub quizzes and far too many two-for-one cocktails at Rev’s. And somewhere between all the laughs, a trip to London and countless everyday moments, they fell in love.

Over the next 13 years, they grew up together, travelled the world and eventually made the leap to New Zealand, building a home and a life from scratch. Living on the other side of the world from family and friends, including navigating COVID lockdowns together, only strengthened their partnership. Tom became Jasmine’s patient, dependable person who feels like home, while Jasmine remained Tom’s loyal, compassionate and adventurous teammate. They might disagree on TV shows, dishwasher loading and who should reverse the car, but they’ve always found a way to work through life as a team.

When it came time to propose, Tom knew exactly where he wanted to do it: Liverpool, the city where their story began. On a classic Northern English winter’s day, complete with cold, drizzle and wind, he took Jasmine for a walk beside the Liver Building and dropped to one knee. For a minute or two, the sun even came out. After almost 13 years together, Jasmine and Tom finally got to make their love official, surrounded by their favourite people in beautiful Noosa.

Sneak Peak

A Quote from the Vows

“You're my best friend, my greatest love and the person who makes me feel most at home.” – Jasmine

“After 13 incredible years, I know one thing for certain, the best part of my life has always been sharing it with you.” – Tom

Their vows were heartfelt, personal and full of the humour that has been part of their relationship since the beginning.

A little about the celebration

With their ceremony at Casuarina Gardens on the Noosa Main Beach Foreshore, Jasmine and Tom celebrated their wedding surrounded by the people who have been part of their journey from the very beginning.

Their celebrant brought their story to life, taking everyone back to that first university flat, the early nights out, their adventures overseas and the proposal in Liverpool. It was a lovely reminder that a relationship isn't built around one defining moment, but through thousands of shared experiences that slowly turn two people into a team.

The ceremony was filled with laughter, meaningful promises and emotional vows that reflected just how much these two have grown together. After exchanging rings and sealing their marriage with a kiss (or two!), it was time to celebrate.

The festivities continued at Noosa Boathouse on Gympie Terrace, bringing their guests together for the next chapter of the day. After 13 years of shared memories, there was plenty to celebrate, from the adventures that had brought them here to all the new ones still waiting ahead.

why I love this wedding venue for weddings

Noosa offers a relaxed coastal setting for couples who want their wedding to feel connected to the outdoors, with the beach and foreshore providing a beautiful backdrop for a ceremony.

For Jasmine and Tom, Casuarina Gardens on the Noosa Main Beach Foreshore was the place to exchange their vows, before heading to Noosa Boathouse for their reception at 194 Gympie Terrace. Having their ceremony and reception in two distinctive Noosa locations gave their day a natural flow, from the heartfelt promises shared outdoors to celebrating with family and friends afterwards.

Noosa is also a wonderful place to bring people together for a wedding, with its coastal atmosphere and laid-back feel complementing a celebration focused on love, connection and making memories. For couples planning a Noosa wedding, these locations offer a lovely starting point for a day that feels personal and true to them.
