Branyan Drive Wedding
A Love Story Built on Adventure
Tyler & Josiah
Their Love Story
Tyler and Josiah's story began in 2020, when Josiah first noticed Tyler.
They already knew of each other, but it wasn't until they happened to cross paths twice in the same day that things started to shift. Tyler did what any modern day romantic would do and found him on Instagram.
A follow was made.
Nothing happened.
For two years.
Then, on Tyler's birthday in February 2022, Josiah spotted his opportunity and slid into her DMs.
And from there, the conversation hasn't really stopped.
Their first few weeks together were filled with gym sessions, dinners and plenty of talking, with a little help from the 2022 floods. When the Bruce Highway closed, Tyler's plans to leave town were suddenly delayed, giving these two a little more time together.
Apparently, Tyler was already thinking about the possibility of marrying Josiah after those first few weeks.
Her solution?
Leave town, break up with him and hope he was still single in a few years.
Thankfully, that plan lasted about a week.
After plenty of phone calls, messages and weekend visits, Tyler eventually gave in to what she already knew and moved to Bundaberg to be with Josiah.
And the adventures really began.
Together they've travelled the world, spent days on boats in Greece, explored Hawaii, tackled flow riding, hiking and water skiing, and welcomed Poppy, their ridiculously adorable Spoodle, into the family.
But perhaps the biggest adventure of all has been building a life together.
And that brings us to the place where they decided to get married.
Their home.
A Quote from the Vows
“I have always carried a million dreams, but loving you has made me realise the life I want is already here.” ~ Josiah
Josiah's vows were a pretty good reminder of what this day was really about.
Not just the wedding.
Not just the photos.
But the life they've already created together.
“Through the good days and the bad days, I promise to always choose you.” ~ Tyler
Tyler's vows were just as heartfelt. It was a pretty powerful reminder that this wasn't just about two people getting married.
It was about a family coming together.

A little about the celebration
Tyler and Josiah's wedding was everything you'd expect from a couple who have built their relationship around adventure, family and making the most of life.
And the fact they chose to get married at their own home in Branyan made it even more meaningful.
Their beautiful property became the backdrop for the day, surrounded by the people who had travelled from interstate to celebrate with them.
There were tears.
There was plenty of laughter.
The ceremony itself was incredibly personal, with their celebrant reflecting on the people who had shaped their lives and remembering the loved ones who couldn't physically be there but were very much present in spirit.
And then came the vows.
Both Tyler and Josiah absolutely nailed them.
There were plenty of laughs mixed in with the emotional moments, including Josiah promising to give Tyler the freedom to fill up her water bottle, listen to her complaints about random pains and ride beside her while she trains for an ultramarathon.
That's true love right there.
why I love this wedding venue for weddings
There is something incredibly personal about having a wedding at home, particularly when that home represents years of shared memories and a future you're building together.
For Tyler and Josiah, their Branyan property wasn't simply a convenient wedding location.
It was part of their story.
It's where they get to live out the life they have worked towards, surrounded by the things they've built and the people they love most.
A home wedding also gives you the freedom to make the day feel completely like you.
No trying to fit your wedding into someone else's idea of what a venue should look like.
No leaving at a particular time because the venue needs to close.
Just your people, your property and a celebration designed around the two of you.
And from a wedding videography perspective, it gives you something pretty special to work with.
Every corner of the property can become part of the story.
The house you've built together.
The garden.
The places you spend your everyday life.
The people who travelled to celebrate with you.
And all those little details that make the location yours.
Years from now, watching your wedding film won't just take you back to your wedding day.
It'll take you home.
a thank you message
Tyler and Josiah, what a bloody beautiful day.
Thank you for trusting us to capture such an important chapter of your story and for allowing us to be there for the laughs, the happy tears, the beautiful vows and everything in between.
Your relationship is such a great example of what happens when two people choose each other, support each other and continue to chase a life that makes them happy.
And after hearing those vows, we're pretty confident there's a lot more adventure still to come.
We hope you look back on your wedding film years from now and remember not just how incredible the day looked, but how it felt to have all of your favourite people standing there at home, celebrating the life you've built together.
Congratulations to the both of you❤️
