Yvette & Michael’s amazing wedding at the stunning Maleny Manor in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The view during the ceremony was breath taking, overlooking the rolling hills of Maleny all the way down the coast. AN AMAZING MALENY MANOR WEDDING ON THE SUNSHINE COAST
Located in the natural beauty of the Hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Maleny Manor is a relaxed country estate that you cannot help but fall in love with especially in summer when the vines are at their peak, lush and green. Its seriously every wedding videographers dream wedding venue. The outside is, I guess, somewhat original, and makes a perfect backdrop for the ceremony and for portraits. The inside is an absolute joy to shoot: high ceilings with open exposed beams; huge windows allowing for beautiful natural shafts of sunlight. It’s a blank canvas for you to work with at your wedding, and it looks absolutely wonderful – scroll down to see the inside of the building fully decked out at this Maleny Manor wedding.
Josh Withers had the honour of tying the knot between these two beautiful families. We had the Scottish & New Zealand heritage on Michaels’s side and the Ghana heritage on Yvette ‘s side. Their Maleny Manor wedding ceremony was a wonderfully intimate celebration in
an elegant outdoor pavilion on the edge of the valley with breathtaking ocean views from Noosa to Coolum. The wind picked up a little during the ceremony however dropped off enough to hear the hilarious and heart warming vows from Yvette & Michael.
Afterwards we made out way around the building and shot some portraits and family photos in the golden afternoon sunlight. We then headed over to One Tree Hill for sunset walks and some 'alone time'. I always tell my couples to allow at least 10-15mins around sunset to get away from the crowd and take in that YOU JUST GOT MARRIED! Sometimes couples can get caught up in the formalities and forget to pause, take a breath and have a moment with just themselves.
The party kicked on at the reception with beautiful, heartfelt and hilarious speeches from all. We ate awesome food provided by the amazing staff, watched the sun down while overlooking the coastline of southeast Queensland.
So, I hope you enjoy viewing this Maleny wedding as much as I enjoyed shooting it. Maleny Manor is a wonderful venue in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, with a pretty incredible view across grape vines and the rolling hills of Maleny.
