Their Love Story
Seventeen and twenty-one, that’s how old Skye and Stuart were when they first crossed paths at a party. Stuart was instantly drawn to the “brunette beauty,” while Skye (mortified by a very public friend yelling “Skye thinks you’re hot!” across the room) was too shy to even speak to him.
So, what’s a girl to do? Message him about a car key battery, of course. That little excuse was all it took to spark a connection. Before long, they were inseparable... sharing Macca’s runs, holding each other’s hair back through messy nights, and, most importantly, building something deeper than chemistry. It was kindness, comfort, and the beginnings of a love that would last nearly a decade before their wedding day.
Fast-forward through house moves, career milestones, and a Christmas Day proposal surrounded by 30 teary family members, and here we are... celebrating Skye & Stuart at the stunning Maleny Country Estate.

A Little About the Celebration
Their wedding at Maleny Country Estate was a true celebration of family, laughter, and a bond that’s only grown stronger over time. Guests were treated to a ceremony filled with heartfelt vows, hilarious digs (yes, doona noises were mentioned), and traditions that honoured both families... including a beautiful handfasting ceremony acknowledging Stuart’s Scottish heritage.
The day flowed from emotional moments to pure celebration, with their 100+ guests cheering, crying, and showering them in love. Skye looked absolutely radiant walking down that long aisle, and Stuart’s face when he saw her? Let’s just say, no dry eyes.
By the time they exchanged rings and sealed it all with a kiss, the cheers could probably be heard all the way down to Curramundi Maccas.
