Dana and Zac’s wedding day at the breathtaking Cowbell Creek in the Gold Coast Hinterland was nothing short of magical. As a videographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing many weddings, but there was something truly special about this one. The weather was absolutely perfect, and the venue suited this amazing couple to a tee. From the rolling green hills to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, Cowbell Creek provided the ideal backdrop for a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
A LOVE THAT WAS MEANT TO BE
Dana and Zac’s journey to the altar was 18 years in the making. They had crossed paths many times over the years, and when the timing was finally right, their friendship blossomed into something much more. Even Zac’s best mate Ryan predicted that if Dana and Zac were ever single at the same time, they would end up together—and here they are, proving him right!
Their relationship is built on a foundation of love, friendship, and shared experiences. Whether it’s renovating their home or raising their beautiful daughter Hazel, Dana and Zac have navigated life’s challenges together, always coming out stronger on the other side. Their wedding was a celebration of this incredible bond, and Cowbell Creek was the perfect venue to host such a momentous occasion.
A DAY FILLED WITH LAUGHTER AND JOY
From the moment I arrived at Cowbell Creek, it was clear that this was going to be a day to remember. Dana and Zac’s friends and family were in high spirits, and the bridal party was non-stop laughter. It was easy to see that these were more than just friends—they were best mates who have been through thick and thin together. The joy and love that filled the air were infectious, making everyone feel like part of the family.
The ceremony itself was both heartfelt and humorous, with Dana and Zac exchanging vows that perfectly captured their personalities. Zac promised to always be by Dana’s side, supporting her through life’s highs and lows, while Dana vowed to love Zac even on the days when he finds new ways to push her buttons. Their vows were a beautiful blend of sincerity and playfulness, reflecting the deep connection they share.

The team at Cowbell Creek is one of the best I’ve ever worked with—professional, accommodating, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure everything runs smoothly. It’s no wonder this venue is a favorite among couples and vendors alike.
The reception was held in Cowbell Creek’s beautifully decorated barn, where the celebrations continued well into the night. With amazing food, a great atmosphere, and plenty of dancing, it was clear that everyone was having the time of their lives. And as the sun set over the rolling hills, Dana and Zac took a moment to soak it all in—this was their day, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Working with the incredible team of vendors at Dana and Zac’s wedding was truly a pleasure. True North Photography captured every special moment with precision and creativity, while Clarah Luxford, the celebrant, delivered a heartfelt ceremony that beautifully reflected the couple’s journey. The breathtaking floral arrangements by Flowers by Ola added a touch of elegance to the venue, and the hairstyling by hairbydanikapaige, along with the flawless makeup by Richelle Darben, made Dana look absolutely radiant.
Luv Bridal provided a stunning dress that perfectly matched the day’s vibe, and Empire Events kept the energy high with their fantastic entertainment. Last but not least, Gareth Keenan Catering provided delicious food and a beautiful cake that everyone enjoyed. It was amazing to collaborate with such talented professionals who all contributed to making Dana and Zac’s day unforgettable.
