NESTLED IN THE HINTERLAND OF THE SUNSHINE COAST, THE MALENY MANOR

The story of Brea & Dane - it began in a very unique and rare way. There was no swiping right, there was no tinder, bumble or plenty of fish. There was no flirtation through work emails or certainly a flick of hair by the water cooler. Dane & Brea connected by the almighty powers of Facebook. After realising they had been attending the same high school Brea messaged Dane asking when he starting attending that high school. To her surprise Dan replied that he had always been there... After a bit of back and forth messaging Brea finally struck up the courage to ask Dane for his phone number but to her complete disappointment he said he didn't have one. Concluding Dane must have not been interested. Later to find out isn't was an excuse but that Dane actually didn't own a phone at all!

As they shared school yard lunches together, Dane has some very fond memories of seeing Brea's cute smile. One that made him so nervous he wasn't sure Brea was still interested but despite this self doubt Dane took a leap of faith and decided to ask her out at a mutual friends party. So what started as a high school crush, over the years they have grown and supported each other through their young adult lives. Something that has shaped they as individuals but as a couple in a very unique way.

When ever Brea goes somewhere without Dane it doesn't feel right because she only feels at home when she is with him. Aww. The way these two think on the same page and live by their moto "Living & Learning" is something to be admired and something they apply to everyday life.

I had the chance to work with some pretty wonderful vendors at this stunning Maleny Manor wedding. It's always a pleasure when working beside the talented Jek from Naturally Jek Photography. The day was set off on an amazing tone with Danielle from Your Story Celebrant. The flowers for both the ceremony and reception were by the amazing Mondo Floral Design. The talented humans behind Brea's look are makeup by Erin Fedele, hair by Evalyn Parsons Weddings. David West Music serenaded us during the ceremony, cocktail hour and all the quests during reception.
