Christine & Lachlan // Maleny Manor, Sunshine Coast Wedding Videographer

12th Nov 2020

This stunning Maleny Manor Wedding on the Sunshine Coast, Qld is where Christine & Lachlan decided to tie the knot with close family and friends. For Christine and Lachlan is was a stressful year leading up to finally making it official. As with many of our 2020 brides the pandemic had other plans, after only postponing once to later in the year many of their guest were able to make it except for a few. We were short a few brides maids and in particular Christine’s brother who was overseas at the time. However, through live stream we were able to bring the wedding to them. It went off without a hitch and I’m so thrilled all the guests, present and online were able to be apart of the celebration.

The way these two lovebirds meet is a very heartfelt story. It all started at the local café where Christine was working at the time. Lachlan being a regular.. I wonder why!? Lachlan’s cheeky smile instigated this beautiful relationship. After a few short conversations they exchanged names & numbers to chat a little more as time went on. Soon enough Christine started anticipating Lachlan’s morning coffee routine and slowly falling for his quite charming nature. Unknowing to Christine, Lachlan was falling for her beautiful nature and warm heart. As life does, things got in the way of their love story for a short period of time. They reconnected a short time later for a first official date where hours felt like minutes and shared their first kiss under the moonlight.

Simply being around Christine & Michael was such a positive experience. They’re the kind of people that give out nothing but good energy and good vibes. It truly was a pleasure to be there to capture the beginning of their married love story. So here is how the start of their married life began. Celebrating a Maleny Manor wedding with close friends and family.

"Where do I start? Ed from Blue Vale Films was undoubtedly our most valued vendor throughout our whole wedding experience. From our very first interaction with Ed, he has been incredibly helpful, friendly, professional and supportive. Originally drawn to Blue Vale Films for the incredible quality of films, it was Ed’s demeanor and work ethic that truly set him apart. Ed was always happy to answer the million and one questions we had, whilst also taking the time to get to know us to create a film that was so perfectly unique and representative of us a couple. Even through all of the challenges and uncertainty of 2020, Ed was incredibly accommodating and understanding. On our actual wedding day, Ed’s calming and warm nature made the day flow effortlessly. Ed also allowed us to live-stream our ceremony to our loved ones from afar, which was so greatly appreciated during these challenging times.

THEN we received our film! What can I say? It was just breathtaking/ tear jerking (happy tears)! Ed had somehow captured so many special moments (many of which had gone unnoticed on the day) and encapsulated them into one truly moving film. We cannot wait to share our film with all of our loved ones and look back on it in years to come.

If you’re anything like us you might be thinking, do we really need a videographer? If so, I would strongly suggest making budgetary adjustments elsewhere to do so. Photos are beautiful memories of course, but there’s something about watching the film that takes you right back to the moments of your special day. You will not regret it!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!!" - Christine & Lachlan
