Surrounded with beautiful scenery the sweetest couple got to celebrate their special day! I was so excited to be able to capture and put together this beautiful film that this couple can keep and watch until they are old and grey! When watching back on this film I get goosebumps as Charl and Aimee were so authentic and real with love! Surrounded by love, laughter and great food this was truly the perfect day! In a stunning location that is Spicers Tamarind Retreat we were encompassed by the natural Australian Rainforest, located near Gardner Falls in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. This is the perfect wedding venue. The venue stretches over 18 acres of property offering a secluded and romantic location to seal the deal!

With an amazing memory, Charl remembered Aimee's phone number when they met one summer night at schoolies when neither of them had a phone on them - She knew she had hit the jackpot when she received a text from him the next day while Charl was stocked that he was actually given the right number! Meeting at the young age of 17 years old, it was love at first sight! Enduring a long distance relationship for 3 years created strong values and trust during this time until Aimee decided to make the big move to Brisbane to be closer to Charl. This couple proved that long distance can succeed if you put in the work and commitment!
I really hope Charl continues to make Aimee laugh with his ridiculous singing in the car and dancing in the kitchen at any random moment! Charl thought he was finished with tears on the day of his wedding from reading a letter in preparations that morning but boy was he wrong, as Aimee walked down the aisle there was no holding back! Aimee wore a stunning and elegant dress while holding a beautiful rustic and pink bouquet, she looked absolutely beautiful walking down the aisle. Charl planned to propose to Aimee when they travelled to Santorini on their one month trip although due to Covid 19 those plans fell through but that didn't stop Charl from getting down on my knee and proposing with a custom made ring! He decided to propose at Mt Coot-Tha Lookout instead and when he opened the box the ring was upside down!
Simple but elegant this wedding was not short of love. Aimee's beautiful bouquet and flowers are provided by Mondo Floral Designs and the wonderfully sweet Natalie Skye from the Sunny Celebrant' had the privilege of officially calling this couple Husband and Wife.
